We place emphasis on the importance of scheduling the wedding as far in advance as possible, giving dates, and the exact hour of rehearsals, ceremonies, reception, and the facilities desired. Reservations should be made through the church food service office. The phone number is 747-0281 ext. 330.
We will not schedule a wedding on Sunday. Bridal parties must receive special written permission from the church wedding coordinator to schedule on one of the seven major holidays (New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & Christmas Eve. ALL December weddings must be scheduled around FBC Christmas Music Program.
Members of First Baptist Church receive preference over non-member, therefore, reservations will not be accepted for a non-member over 1 year in advance for the main Sanctuary or the Chapel. Members are defined as bride, groom, parents of the bride or groom and grandparents of the bride or groom.
Each wedding scheduled requires a contract, signed and returned to the church hostess with the following attached:
Members: 25% deposit
Non-members: 50% deposit
The date is placed in the calendar when this is completed.
All remaining fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to the wedding. No exceptions. No more than one wedding will be scheduled in the Sanctuary or Chapel per day.
In the event there should be cancellation, money will be refunded according to the following guidelines:
a full refund will be given for a cancellation made up to 30 days in advance;
a 50% refund will be given for a cancellation made 30 days to 2 weeks in advance;
no refund will be made for a cancellation made less than 2 weeks before the wedding date.
